The best friend of Ami, Kotomi is a shy girl with a problem similar to Junta's. While in Junta's case, he has a woman allergy, Kotomi has a... ahem...gas problem. You see, whenever Kotomi becomes nervous, her stomach acts up which in turn leads to her having gas. This problem devastated her when she passed gas in front of a boy she had a crush on in elementary school. Since then, she has vowed to never love again. But her heart softens when she sees Junta (as the Megaplayboy) beat up some punks who hurt both Tomoko and Ami in a cafe. After that, Kotomi fell in love with Junta. Determined to win him over, she goes through a huge make-over. Junta does decide to go out with her, but only for the sake of curing her problem. Somewhat disheartened, Kotomi agrees and decides to cure Junta of his problem. To practice, Kotomi and Junta meet in the gym everyday. Kotomi performs rythmic gymnastics in a leotard as Junta watches. At first, both Kotomi and Junta have some trouble, but eventually Kotomi is finally able to finish her performance without stumbling and Junta can watch her without vomiting. But still wanting Junta as a boyfriend, she asks Junta if she can finish the performance one more time in front of him that he would become her boyfriend. Unfortunately, during her performance she sees someone spying on her (Karin), stumbles, and passes gas. Disheartened, she tries one last attempt. She tries to be with Junta. Junta suddenly transforms into the Megaplayboy. But again, Kotomi cannot hold on and lets one go. But instead of crying, she smiles and blushes. Junta then remarks that she shouldn't change -- that she's beautiful just being herself. Overjoyed Kotomi becomes cured of her problem, but also realizes that Junta doesn't love her. With this in mind, she tells Ami that she was "dumped" by Junta and gives him up.
